Cdl Driver

Position Summary: The purpose of the Driver is to support the plant by completing all assigned truck driver duties and responsibilities in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Load finished products into tank truck.

· Be able to self-load and accurately complete all Bills of Lading, certificate of analysis and other paper work that pertains to the load for delivery.

· Meet all applicable Department of Transportation qualifications as required by CFR 391.

· Follow any and all DOT and EHS rules and regulations, as well as, those of the customer when on their property.

· Become familiar with plant operating procedures.

· Complete and maintain safety and quality documentation and records.

· Assist with facility emergencies.

· Maintain plant and vehicle cleanliness.

· Deliver product to customers’ site.

· Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Qualifications/Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED.

· 2-3 years of tractor-trailer type driving experience.

Overnight runs are possible and weekend on call is required

· Pneumatic tank and flatbed experience preferred.

· Must have valid CDL class A.

· Possess a clean driving record (MVR) for past three (3) years.

· Be able to provide proof of experience or training to safely operate the types of motor vehicle used by US Minerals

· Must be able to perform general analytical skills.

· Be physically qualified to drive motor vehicle and provide valid medical card.

· Must be able to perform a variety of mathematical calculations involving whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

· Must be able to work a flexible and changeable schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and overtime upon request.

· Must possess excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills and computer knowledge.

· Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision, is highly motivated, energetic, and enjoys working as part of a team.

· Employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee is occasionally required to climb stairs/ladders (including vertical)

· Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision.

· Must be physically capable of spending long hours sitting in an office environment.

· Must be “fit for duty”.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
