Card Services Representative

First Financial Credit Union (FFCU), a Southern Californian financial institution, is seeking a Card Service Representative to join its team at its new operations center in Pasadena. The primary objective for the Card Services Representative is to provide exceptional member service along with flawless execution. The Card Service Representative will provide technical support and education on card products and services. Performs monetary data entry and dispute research/resolution. Department supports Visa Debit, Visa Credit, ATM and Mobile Wallet.

Essential Duties:

• -Orders Visa check cards and ATM cards, ensuring accuracy and completeness of account information
• -Reviews ATM large item reports, including extending holds, releasing holds, etc.
• -Tracks daily production for review
• -Process member requests, inquiries and correspondence
• -Performs various routine clerical duties including copying, balancing accounts, verifying information, preparing routine reports, preparing and mailing correspondence, faxing
• -Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all Visa USA Bylaws and Operating Regulations and Visa International Operating Regulations

- Process lost/stolen, damage, additional card requests

Minimum Requirements

• Analytical ability to conduct an analysis of members card account and recommend alternatives where the analysis reveals possible problems.
• Must have a broad knowledge of Visa operational fundamentals.
• A working knowledge of Credit Union regulations and card service operations.
• Effective oral & written communication skills
• Working knowledge of personal computers.
• Ability to work independently without continuous supervision.
• Basic accounting skills sufficient to process and balance accounts.
