TheCredit Card and Expense Management Clerk will be responsible for compiling, classifying, and verifying records. The individual will maintain data and payments to our Credit Card provider and our employees who submit expense reports for reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and deliver Credit Card and Expense report related mail daily
- Review, receive and process expense reports daily
- Review, audit and correspond approval for payments and research of Credit Card and Expense reports daily
- Answer Credit Card and Expense report inquiries within time frame of 48 hours
- Assist with related special projects, as required
- Assist in (accrual based) monthly and annual close deadlines
- Maintain the current Credit Card platform system, perform all transactions pertaining to the Credit Card program; including but not limited to issuing new cards, increasing/decreasing limits, terminating cards, reporting to meet department KPI's (Key Performance Indicators), posting the monthly transactions to the accounts payable module, and administering policy to include escalation of non-compliance
- Review all employee and mileage reimbursements for proper authorization insuring policy adherence.
- Process the transactions within the accounts payable module and remit reports to payroll
- Process new Credit Card applications
- Review all proper approvals are received
- File all Credit Card and reimbursements in respective folders
- Assist with random audits of expense reports
- Excellent customer service skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or Economics from a two year college or university and a minimum of 1 year experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience with Credit Card and Expense reimbursement programs such as Chrome River or Concur is highly desired.
- May be required to have a valid driver's license.
- Experience with Accounting software, Excel software preferred, Email correspondence.
Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
