New, privately-owned, Cannabis Dispensary in Central NJ is seeking a Full-TimeDispensary Managerto help lead our Team!
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lead, coordinate, and give direction to a Team of 30 + people in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely strong time management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
- Night and early morning availability, weekend availability, on-call availability when not scheduled.
- Extensive knowledge of the NJ cannabis industry, vendors, products
- Ability to run and create analytical reporting, using MS Excel and other software tools to present sales, promo, and product recommendations to Executive leadership.
- Understand and comply with our company’s rules and operational procedures, as well as the New Jersey Medical Marijuana Program and NJAC 17:30 regulations.
- Complies with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement.
- Demonstrates and provides working knowledge and practical understanding of HIPAA laws. Instruct staff on when to enforce and implement these policies.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Oversees dispensary day-to-day activities and staff
- Ensures all opening, welcoming, transactional, inventory, and closing activities are completed accurately and promptly.
- First Point-Of-Contact for day-to-day dispensary issues
- Oversees specialized roles and tasks such as purchasing orders, receiving products and supplies, coordinating deliveries, reconciling inventory, and cash management detail as assigned.
- Maintain professional and prompt communication with vendors
- Perform and report routine investigations of inventory / cash discrepancy
- Responsible for monthly aged inventory report – managing expiring product
- Schedules and plans daily sales – maintains promo calendar, inputs into software
- Reconciles inventory (of both cannabis and non-cannabis goods) on a routine basis - Reconciles Dutchie Inventory / Metrc Inventory
- Maintains dispensary employee schedules and performs bi-weekly payroll
- Weekly review and approval of hours in HR system
- Point of Contact for schedule coverage changes, time off requests, call outs
- Performs employee reviews, provides leadership feedback on employee performance
- Provides ongoing training, coaching and counseling to Supervisors, Leads, and PCAs.
- Provides staff training on cultivars/strains and understanding of the potential risks/benefits of the various cannabis form factors.
- Provides staff training on numerous NJ state required and company chosen CRM, POS, and team collaboration software tools -- Ensures the input and updating of required and appropriate information into software.
- Oversees audits as needed including inventory, sales, and compliance.
- Oversees facility maintenance and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Regular use of MS Excel, and other software, in creating and analyzing various reports
- Attend continuing education on using cannabis for appropriate various treatments and ongoing industry news.
- Attend community events and job fairs outside of the dispensary.
