We're in search of Resource Center Specialists/Call Center Representatives to become valued members of our team.
We are excited to announce that our upcoming training class for Resource Center Specialist will commence on April 29, 2024. This comprehensive training program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your role within our organization.
In this role, you'll be responsible for offering information, conducting assessments, and making referrals in response to inbound callers. Additionally, you'll evaluate suicide risk, offer emotional support when needed, and collaboratively create safety plans with clients. Your duties will include delivering suitable referrals, counseling, and crisis intervention services through various communication channels, including phone, text, and social media.
Salary: Starting at $18 per hour. Shift differential available based on schedule, additional languages and education.
Hours: Call Center Operates 24/7 - Schedule flexibility needed. Initially, the schedule will involve daytime training from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm for approximately 4 weeks. After training, the schedule will transition to various shifts based on availability and coverage needs. Shift examples are: Tuesday through Saturday, Sunday through Thursday. Various schedules could be: 3:00 pm- 11:30 pm, 11:00 pm -7:30 am, and limited 7:00 am -3:30 pm.
Upon successful completion of training and a minimum tenure of 90 days, eligible candidates may be considered for participation in our hybrid work schedule program, subject to meeting quality and productivity standards. This program offers a balanced arrangement allowing for a blend of in-office and up to 2 days per week of remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring continued excellence in performance. Core Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate Degree preferred.
Two years of customer service, social work, or human services experience required.
Ability to establish rapport and effectively communicate.
Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and confidentiality.
Proficiency in computer systems.
Bi-lingual (Spanish, Creole) preferred.
