Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Serves membership by providing service and information in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner via telephone, email, or chat correspondence
  • Continuously checks Member Service voice mail, message board, and email and replies to inquiries accordingly
  • Research and answers/solve member questions, problems, and complaints concerning credit union accounts and forwards issues to Management as applicable
  • Verifies accounts, opens/closes accounts as permitted by credit union policies/procedures, processes stop payments on share draft accounts, orders cards, and answers questions regarding share accounts
  • Cross-sells credit union products and services when appropriate
  • Assists members with remote access
  • Processes payments by phone requests
  • Daily review of obituaries for Central Credit Union members
  • Provides wiring instructions to members
  • Provides information to prospective members regarding the online application and documentation requirements
  • Completes proper follow up and satisfaction with members when research is required
  • Ensures all credit union member and employee related business is kept in strictest confidence
  • Employee’s responsibilities regarding BSA – OFAC – AML – CTR laws, rules, and regulations:

A. Attain and maintain acceptable level of knowledge of laws, rules and
regulations including all updates and changes

B. Complete and accurately submit all necessary forms required by the laws
rules and regulations

C. Complete all steps required in laws, rules, and regulations

  • All other duties assigned by Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.45 - $23.17 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
