Cad Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled mid-level CAD Operator to join our team. The position will involve drafting technical drawings of LED lighting products.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Computer Aided Drafting
• Experience with AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator & Microsoft Office
• Experience with Mechanical Drawing highly preferred
• Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use computer assisted design/drafting (AutoCAD 2000i) to develop drawings of LED lighting products.
• Create and revise production drawings (detail and assembly drawings).
• Responsible for maintaining an organized file system for production/customer drawings.
• Communicate with President of company, QA, Electrical Engineers and Manufacturing regarding LED lamps or any miscellaneous parts.
• Generate Engineering Changes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
