Position Summary

Judd Buick Construction, Inc. (JBCI) based in Redding, CA, was started in April 2008 as an owner/operator heavy civil construction company. JBCI started out preforming small project for the U.S. Forest Service such as road decommissioning, and culvert installations. Today JBCI works for Federal, State and Local Agencies throughout California completing a variety of heavy civil construction projects, from installing pre-cast concrete bridges to complete roadway reconstruction. Role and Responsibilities

Job Requirements:

• Willing to travel throughout Northern California
• Able to operate different pieces of equipment (i.e.: excavator, dozer, loader) and some laboring
• High efficiency and smooth operation of equipment
• Interpret plans and grade stakes
• Can cut and maintain grade
• Experience installing culvert preferred
• Positive attitude
• Participate in routine maintenance
• Work well with all individuals including, coworkers, inspectors and supervisors

• Take initiative and perform tasks that are needed
• Ability to be self-directed, with minimal supervision

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating heavy equipment for highway/road construction and/or logging experience
• Journeyman level heavy Equipment Operator
• Class A Driver license preferred
• Paving experience preferred

• 10-hour shift

Successful candidate must submit to pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check.

Pay: $85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 55 per week
