Business Intelligence Analyst (Dealer Development)

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION 

The Business Intelligence Analyst oversee functions related to the Kubota e-Commerce project, Dealer Business Systems development and upgrade for Dealer Development and Marketing including; marketing customer profiles; data compliance; reporting. The Data Analyst will support the organization by focusing on: Report Development, Quality Control, and Product Management. 

They will also be responsible for enhancing and maintaining BI and Data Visualization tools. This highly visible position will have the opportunity to work across the organization, with multiple layers of employees and management, and be involved in building out a Data Analytics department for the organization.

Support and assist administration of Kubota's e-Commerce solution and Dealer Business System strategy.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:  This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines:

• Maintain/monitor all Sales & Marketing Operations system projects, DBS (Dealer Business Systems) and the Kubota e-Commerce project.
• Work to improve Dealer onboarding and usage.
• Act as a Kubota Tractor Corporation liaison between Corporate and third party vendors on development, revision and reporting access.
• Negotiate effectively with team members (Dealers/customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal users) to identify each member's role in solution design and development, agree on specific problem-solving, requirements, analysis and design tasks, as well as associated work products, and to define approaches for producing them.
• Work effectively with other team members to understand company needs and to design, evaluate and develop architectural solutions which meet those needs.
• Work with third-party developers, Dealer Business System partners, and support staff to develop and enhance the Kubota e-Commerce platform.
• Analyze, assess and control the Kubota e-Commerce data using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Monitor website performance and traffic through Google Analytics.
• Support the overall set-up and integration of Kubota's e-commerce platform with the multiple Dealer Business Systems. 
• Work closely with Dealer Business System/Dealer Management System vendors to ensure timely completion of project deliverables, proper dealer engagement, and quality customer support. 
• Engage meetings with prospective dealers who are interested in utilizing the e-Commerce platform for their dealership, which could include onboarding.
• Develop and establish reporting to track and maintain operations. Up-to-date monitoring of operations with the goal of implementing continuous improvements.
• Support informed decision-making throughout the company by ensuring high data quality & integrity, building reports & dashboards, and conducting analyses on historical data.
• Ensures data accessibility and distribution by supporting ad-hoc data requests, creating and automating reporting and managing routine distribution of regular reports to both leadership.
• Provide day to day operational support and troubleshooting for applications.
• Develop SQL queries to manipulate, analyze and report on large data sets.
• Data extraction, creation, manipulation of multiple files and or databases.
• SQL/PL SQL code tuning and Query optimization.
• SIT/UAT testing and identifying data quality issues.
• Analyze reporting requirements, study existing reports for layout, formula and calculations, derived values, restrictions, attributes, and variants.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University in Management Information Systems, supply chain related disciplines such as Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering preferred:

• In lieu of a degree 3 years of analytical experience in logistics or related fields required.
• With a degree at least 1 year of data analytics experience required. 

• Agricultural, construction, Dealership, or Dealer Business System/Dealer Management System experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience building dashboards in Power BI preferred.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI using DAX. 
• Familiarity with big data processes (extracting, storage, processing, scripting, etc.) and associated tool/products (e.g., Winshuttle) is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, power pivots, charts, etc.).  
• Familiarity with service and parts including warehouse operations, sales and marketing, purchasing, forecasting and inventory planning, and distribution philosophies.
• Project management experience. Lean skills and experience (TPS, Six Sigma) is preferred.

• Knowledge of Smartsheet.
• Highly organized - strong knowledge in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
