Job Summary:
The BI Analyst will work with the Cat Digital Support team to provide data insights through PowerBI visualizations and reporting. They will ensure that requests and issues are resolved quickly and efficiently for stakeholders, business partners and customers.
What You Will Do:
- Assisting the Cat Digital Support team to provide data through PowerBI visualizations and reports to stakeholders and business partners
- Collects required business data through various data sources as prescribed by Cat Digital Support.
- Identifying stakeholder and client requirements to provide the information and support requested
- Supporting Cat Digital Support management team and peers by fulfilling their data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance as needed
What You Will Have:
- Strong experience creating PowerBI visualizations reflecting data that is accurate and error-free.
- Technical knowledge may include Advanced DAX, Power Query M Language, SQL and object-orientation programming
- Adapts documents and presentations for the intended audience.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the business including both internal and external parties
- Follows policies, practices and standards for determining functional and informational requirements to meet the reporting needs
- Communicates with appropriate teams and stakeholders to elicit and gather client requirements.
Considerations For Top Candidates Include:
- Experience in design and prototyping dynamic views and visualizations for large and complex data sets in Power BI
- Practical experience delivering production deployed solutions
- Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
- Interprets and validifies data to presents new findings to stakeholders
- Oracle SQL, Python, C#, and advanced statistics experience
- UI/UX experience

This position has the option to be based out of either our Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL; Dallas, TX or Denver, CO offices with a flexible hybrid work environment.

Summary Pay Range:
$95,640.00 - $143,520.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
