Business Intelligence Analyst

What We’re Looking For

Travelpro is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to be responsible for optimizing and improving the Supply Chain department.  This position requires experience in developing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards.  This position requires a self-directed individual who can direct and handle multiple tasks, possess strong practical and technical skills, and communicate clearly and persuasively.

What You’ll Do

You will support the Travelpro Organization with designing, developing, and managing strategic, tactical, and operational analytical solutions. The Business Intelligence Analyst will work collaboratively with Sales, Finance, and Operations to achieve effective business decisions that meet company initiatives and objectives.

• Analyze and identify opportunities through multiple datasets, including but not limited to customer forecast, customer POS, historical sales information, and supplier production.
• Develop well-organized, insightful reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to support strategic, tactical, and operational business decisions, adhering to UX best practices, design library, and standards guide.
• Identify data sources that support reporting requirements and manage integration workflows to source, transform, and load data into consumable datasets for reporting and analysis.
• Help leadership identify business process efficiency/improvements.
• Develop a working knowledge of the company's products, processes, and customers to ensure optimal planning.
• Provide training and support to end users with change management efforts and drive the adoption of report and dashboard solutions through cross-functional collaboration and coordination of activities.
• Perform other related tasks as required and complete special projects as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistical Analysis, Computer Science (or related), or Supply Chain.
• 1 – 3+ years of experience focusing on data/financial analytics.
• Independent problem-solving and effective communication with peers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working in consumer goods to retail multi-channel planning environment (not required).
• Experience working with ERP solutions (JDE Enterprise).
• Advanced in Excel: pivot tables, lookups, data extraction, Power Query.
• Basic understanding of SQL statements and stored procedures.
• Experience developing and maintaining dashboards in PowerBI.
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment.
• Understanding of demand/capacity planning.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strategic and analytical thinker with superior problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory inventory processes and practices; good analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of Supply Chain Operations
