General Summary: 
The Lifecycle Services Specialist is a key role in enabling McNaughton-McKay's Services and Solutions (SaS) Group Business Developers, Account Managers and Product Engineering teams expand client relationships through new and existing Service Agreements, Service Bundles, and Post-Service Sales Pull-Through.  The primary responsibilities will include developing and growing the McNaughton-McKay and Rockwell Services Business utilizing the L.A.E.R. Customer Success Model to land, adopt, expand and renew service agreements.  While this is a very customer centric role, the daily activities will be conducted in a hybrid function between customer-facing time (50% travel within defined geography) and virtually through a variety of digital platform interfaces within one of the McNaughton-McKay office locations (40% office, 10% remote).

 

Key Responsibilities: 
1.    Participates in client facing team selling efforts including client presentations to help develop services scope of work as well as other supporting documentation.
2.    Supports Services and Solutions (SaS) sales efforts by preparing both technically and commercially viable proposals based on scope of work and other supporting project documentation.
3.    Runs new service agreement kick-off meetings as well as quarterly health-checks helping to maximize the client's adoption and usage of all service agreements.
4.    Establishes and maintains relationships with SaS suppliers, meeting with them to learn about their services and solutions offerings.
5.    Point person for Service Source to support Rockwell TechConnect renewals.
6.    Manages Customer Block of Time helping to ensure the hours are being utilized effectively.
7.    Manages Remanufacturing / Repair transactions, providing higher visibility at select accounts.
8.    Launches Virtual Learning (Learning+) with clients, as well as check in to see how the experience is going.
9.    Markets services required after certain product sales. based on order reports. (Startup, Training, Preventative Maintenance)
10.    Applies knowledge of customer business and McMc offering to achieve best-in-class customer business outcomes.
11.    Increases customer loyalty through business conversations with the custome; bundles various services with traditional product quotes.
12.    Maintains communication channels between Account Managers and Engineering to market new growth opportunities for SaS initiatives.
13.    Participates and in some cases, leads the development of necessary sales collateral to promote the SaS offering.
14.    Acts as a liaison between McNaughton-McKay's supplier(s) and our customers to expedite a resolution for the customer.
15.    Assists Operations in creating, implementing, and revising procedures and instructions for SaS coordination.
16.    Supports all quality initiatives set forth by the Region.
17.    Follows all safety policies and procedures and completes the provided training.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 
1.    Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Business, Marketing or similar discipline.  At least 2 years of job-related experience in sales and customer service.
2.    10+ years of applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
3.    Work history demonstrating a high degree of initiative and proficiency working as a team as well as technical presentation skills. 
4.    Work history demonstrating strong interpersonal communication skills, multi-tasking, detail and deadline oriented in a fast-paced environment, strong internal and external customer service skills.
5.    Must be able to make a high volume of effective calls to customer base on a daily/weekly basis. 
6.    Intermediate computer skills with MS Office products required with thorough knowledge of the business system required.
7.    Ability to create and maintain positive customer relationships.
8.    Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks at own initiative with minimal supervision.
9.    Must be highly motivated to succeed!
