Job Summary
The Business Development Specialist will focus on supporting special projects, applications/tools, coordinating Business Development events, and assisting with activities and other related duties needed for business operations and growth while supporting the needs of CHOC, medical staff, community physicians and partners based on strategic initiatives. Other duties may include physician/community outreach support, as needed. Occasionally works nights/weekends based on events/Business Development activities. Pay Range
Minimum $69,546 Midpoint $92,184 Maximum $114,779 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
- Required: Minimum three (3) years of experience in Business Development, marketing or similar, preferably in healthcare.
- Preferred: Three (3) years of project coordinator/project management experience in Business Development, marketing, or similar environment.
Education
- Required: Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
Specialized Skills
- Required: High proficiency in Microsoft Office. Able to read; write legibly; speak with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position; Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate and accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure; problem solve; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail; work independently with minimal supervision.
