To drive continued growth, we are recruiting for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Marketing Team.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll serve as the first voice of the Monolith brand. You’ll research and connect with industry leaders who are seeking AI solutions for engineering applications and match our target ideal customer profile (ICP). You’ll have the opportunity to lead qualifying calls where you will talk directly with engineers from the most innovative companies in the world and nurture relationships alongside our Sales Team and CEO.
A bit about you:
- You are a highly motivated and organised individual with a keen interest in AI in engineering.
- You possess strong consultative skills and are a confident communicator adept at leading qualifying calls and nurturing relationships.
- You are proactive and take an inquisitive approach to connecting with technical engineering leaders, researching use case needs, and driving new opportunities.
Bonus:
- Degree in engineering-related field, interest in AI for engineering
- 1-2 years' Sales-related experience (e.g., in role requiring persistence and determination)
- Previous work or knowledge of working in a start-up environment, comfortable with fast pace and wearing many hats
- Experience working with business applications (ie, Office, Teams, etc) and Sales Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as Salesforce or HubSpot; willingness to train and quickly learn on unfamiliar systems
Key responsibilities
- Partner with assigned Sales leaders to research potential accounts and ideal contacts and prepare outreach communication plan.
- Research and identify potential leads in automotive/EV and related markets in target regions using LinkedIn and other platforms.
- Conduct introductory calls with prospects, ensuring a premium experience through thorough preparation.
- Learn and follow the established qualification process and help to continuously improve to ensure best-fit prospects are qualified as quickly as possible and low-fit are qualified out.
- Maintain accurate CRM records in HubSpot and lead deal handover calls with Sales.

- Utilizes LinkedIn adeptly to generate leads and connect with relevant professionals in target industries and regions.
- Proactively communicates, raises issues, and ensures clarity in tasks and objectives.
