Paperless Environments is a well-established and award-winning software company headquartered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Portland, Oregon that serves thousands of customers globally.  We are the market leader in our industry, and our proprietary content management and automated workflow software is used by construction, non-profit, healthcare, and manufacturing companies.  We are growing revenue and expanding our products and need help to meet demand.

 

Position Summary

 

We are looking for a Business Development Representative to be responsible for creating interest from our target prospects in our offerings with a high volume of sales-related activities. This position will be located at our Portland office. The right candidate will fully embrace and become an expert in our products, our sales process, and the construction industry, while letting our entire target market know who we are and what we do. This is a fast-paced job with lots of growth potential, so if you are looking to springboard to a great career in Sales and Marketing, this is it.


What you will do:

 

  • Interact with our target audience to identify qualified leads
  • Utilize email and phone calls to schedule meetings and demos
  • Organize and categorize lists of prospects and customers
  • Excel at learning our products and offerings
  • Master the use of company applications and tools to increase success
  • Occasionally attend and meet prospects/customers at trade shows and industry events
  • Assist Marketing with:
    • Event coordination & planning
    • Weekly email campaigns & list building
    • CRM organization & cleanup
  • Be a great communicator with the ability to:
    • Understand and relate to prospects/customers
    • Clearly inform/educate prospects on how our offerings solve their problems
    • Support our sales team
  • Assist in creating emails, call scripts, and word tracks to get our message across

Huge plus if you have a background in:


  • Sales – retail, B2B, B2C, etc.
  • Construction industry knowledge
  • Accounting/back-office experience


 

Salary:  DOE
