Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and driven Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will focus on playing a pivotal role in expanding our customer base - primarily via cold out reach to customer lists that you build. Candidates will also be expected to help drive our social media and enhance Rotender’s brand presence across marketing channels.
Responsibilities:
- Generate targeted customer lists and conduct effective cold outreach (phone and email) to engage potential customers.
- Initiate conversations, showcase the value of Rotender products and services, and funnel leads to senior Sales team members for further engagement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
- General operational support to Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for brand development, and implement strategies to strengthen the Rotender brand.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in food & beverage.
- Assist in managing our social media presence, including content creation, scheduling posts, and ensuring consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor social media and industry trends, identify competitive threats, and recommend strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience in Business Development, sales, or marketing roles, with a focus on lead generation and cold outreach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers and senior Sales team members.
- Proficiency working with/updating CRM tools.
- Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt in a fast paced environment.
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and measure marketing performance metrics.
- Experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred, but not required.
Contract Details:
This is a contract role at 20 hours per week. As the company grows there may be full time opportunities for high performing candidates.
