Business Development Representative

Professional Search Group (OC) is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our client's team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for generating new leads and expanding their customer base. Your primary focus will be on outbound calling and warm calling potential clients to introduce their products and services.

With more than 2,500 products and 4,000 SKUs, the client provides its customers with an array of choice in quality materials—from hardware, customized packaging products, production supplies, personal protective equipment, and accessories.

Business Development Representative Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers and engage in warm calling techniques
• Identify and qualify leads through effective questioning and active listening
• Present our products and services to potential clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective strategies for lead generation
• Utilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track and manage leads
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets

Business Development Representative Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

• -Previous experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional fluency in Spanish is a plus)
• Strong ability to engage customers over the phone and build rapport
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is preferred
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Technical sales experience is a plus
