Overview: We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill 2-4 Business Development Manager positions. This role involves the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, acquiring new clients, managing existing and new clients, obtaining work orders, coordinating field employees to job sites, and maintaining communication with job site contacts for feedback and progress updates.
Experience: The ideal candidate should have construction staffing experience with an established book of business and a client following. A proven track record of success in the industry is essential. The preferred candidate is someone who has successfully signed up clients, managed and expanded their portfolio, and guided clients through the entire process.
Tools: Strong proficiency in computer skills and communication is crucial for success in this role. Our company is technologically advanced, utilizing specific procedures, systems, and software. The candidate should be adaptable to our policies, procedures, and company culture.
Location: While our corporate office is based in Phoenix, AZ, we also have satellite offices in Detroit, MI, and Atlanta, GA. Remote work is considered for the right candidate with the appropriate experience.
Compensation: Base salary starts at $60K - $100K per year, coupled with a competitive commission structure. Successful sales representatives can expect an overall compensation ranging from $140K - $300K+. We provide full health benefits, dental coverage, and a 401K. Additionally, employees receive 2 weeks of vacation and 5 sick days annually.
Hiring Practices/Pain Points: We prioritize finding self-motivated individuals who fit our team culture. Referrals play a significant role in our hiring process, and we rarely use advertisements. LinkedIn is our primary platform for job postings.
KPI: The target for new hires is to sign up 2 new companies per month until they establish a manageable user base, generating approximately $2-3 Million in sales annually.
Interviews: Interviews will be conducted via Zoom. We request resumes with detailed information on the candidate's current employment, compensation, client management, and areas of expertise. Interviews typically last 30-60 minutes, focusing on assessing the candidate's skills, attitude, and potential for success.
Qualifications: We are specifically seeking individuals with experience in skilled trade construction companies, as opposed to general laborers.
