Job Summary:
The Senior Business Development Advisor in Wealth Management will primarily work to prospect and create new business opportunities with high-net worth investors and ultra-high-net worth individuals & families. The Senior Business Development Advisor will proactively engage with internal business partners, referral resources and others found to be influential within the community. This position will be expected to self-source 75% of new opportunities externally and 25% from internal business partners. The position will have revenue growth and new Business Development sales goals and will work closely with Wealth Advisors and client service/administrative teams to consistently exceed client expectations.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
• Networks proactively with high-net worth and ultra-high-net worth investors
• Identifies new business opportunities with prospects for Wealth Management and private banking services
• Partners with Wealth Advisors, BTC Capital and Private Bankers to bring solutions to prospects and win new business
• Maintains a high-level relationship with clients, working with Wealth Advisors and Private Bankers to exceed their service needs
• Monitors and evaluates client needs continually, in partnership with Wealth Advisors and Private Bankers, to identify opportunities to expand and deepen client relationships
• Demonstrates proficiency in the utilization of consultative and advice driven sales and manages execution of client service standards to develop and retain lasting client relationships
• Develops and strategically executes a personal business plan to achieve defined revenue and business objectives
• Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
• Four-year college degree in a related field preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• College degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Investments, or other Business related field preferred
• At least 15 years of direct business and/or sales experience required
• Experience in Wealth Management and Private Banking strongly preferred
• Certifications and designations related to Wealth Management are a plus. (i.e. CFP, CFA, CPWA, CIMA, etc.)
Hiring Salary Range
The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions. Hiring Salary Range: $112,000 - $147,000
