BuyMax is the Group Purchasing Organization component of Authority Brands. Our role is to provide payment processing, financing solutions, superior products, vendor rebates and discounts for our clients across North America. BuyMax is experiencing explosive growth, and the BDM will be a key contributor to the next wave of expansion and beyond.
This entrepreneurial role will work closely with the BuyMax leadership team and will be accountable for developing and executing strategy to capture net-new enterprise sales
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an expert understanding of developing a Go-To-Market strategy for new enterprise customers.
- Identify, assess and manage customer leads and conversions.
- Have knowledge and experience in selling B2B Services, specifically consumer finance services or / and payment processing services.
- Utilize HubSpot to manage pipeline and effectively communicate with customer leads
- Create and deliver compelling value propositions and sales presentations
- Be responsible for relationship-building, contract execution and onboarding customers.
- Dedicate time and attention to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process
- Support ‘driving adoption’ initiatives where opportunities allow
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Success and Operations stakeholders to focus on customer needs and desires, potential market trends, service and product opportunities
- Meet or exceed established revenue goals

- A high energy and ambitious Business Development Manager who is comfortable in liaising with customer owners / executives as well as rolling sleeves up to perform hands-on tasks, as and when required
- The Business Development Manager should have either home improvement and / or franchisor experience and networking capabilities.
- The Business Development Manager role will include working with the BuyMax team and business stakeholders to promote and make available BuyMax products and services to net-new customers, manage prospects and pipeline and support the setup of new customer contracts.
- 3 to 5 + years of career experience in a strategic Business Development role
- A bachelor’s degree in business related fields, preferred but not required
