Mission
Develop, lead, and manage the assigned product line sales and marketing efforts in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of customers. Prepare related Business Development reports and conduct/present relevant market analysis.
Roles and Responsibilities
Business Development (75%) – Develop the assigned product line business including establishing goals for product sales. Meet or exceed established business goals through intensive prospecting and selling. Control expenses, while maximizing Company assets, time, skills, and profit levels. Identify key direct OEM and national account customers. Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to maximize business results with these customers and markets. Assist in supporting existing OEM customers and further develop these relationships. Review Business Development strategies on a regular basis and recommend modifications and enhancements that will secure sales goals in line with growth targets. Represent the Company at trade shows and conferences, as required. Maintain effective lines of communication with the relevant Business Line Manager, Regional Vice Presidents, regional Direct Sales Representatives, Technical and Service departments.
Reporting (15%) – Prepare monthly reports that show market trends, Business Development results, competitor activity, sales forecasts, and prospective activity. Prepare forecasts and track orders for Industrial Air products monthly.
Market Analysis (5%) - Continuously pursue knowledge and understanding of economic trends and news that may affect the compressed air business. Report such activity to the Business Line Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and regional Sales Representatives.

Experience
3-5+ years of sales management experience, including field sales and territory management. Industrial sales experience is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s (4-year) Degree in Business, Engineering, or other technical area, and/or equivalent training and education.

$70,000 - $100,000 / year. Salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience and has been geographically adjusted.
