Position:Business Development Manager- High Level Assemblies

Remote Position with Travel- Eastern USA


Seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong focus on High Level Assembly and bringing new business to our Strongsville, OH and Plaistow, NH locations. East of the Mississippi River home base preferred.


The Business Development Manager assists in the development of a strong pipeline of new business opportunities through direct or indirect customer contact and prospecting. Researches and analyzes current and future business opportunities. Works with marketing, sales, and product development teams to implement Business Development initiatives.


What a Day Looks Like-

  • Prospecting: Consistently find new opportunities and new customers
  • Screen and qualify new business opportunities via leads, contacts, relationships, industry networking.
  • Establish new relationships with potential customers, and referral sources.
  • Developing a qualified pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Working with the correct decision makers, where there is a business problem to solve and there is an implication to not solving the problem. Identify key decision makers and strategy to create introductions at an executive level.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of relevant Electronics Manufacturing industry experience
  • Proven track record of selling EMS, HLA product manufacturing into the Aerospace & Defense, Medical Device and Life Sciences, and Industrial market is required.
  • 2+ years of experience in a new Business Development role within the EMS industry and ability to articulate your business wins.
  • Experience with Business Development deals that include building full products for customers.
  • ITAR compliance is needed - all applicants must have US Citizenship or be Green Card holders, to be considered for this position.
  • Knowledge of EMS related certifications such as ISO 9001, AS9100, 21-CFR820, FDA/QSR Registered Class I, II, and III, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO Class 8, RoHS and REACH, MDSAP, ANSI ESD S20.20, IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620- Helpful
  • Technical, Engineering, or Program Management background a plus.
  • Expertise in Contract Manufacturing and/or expertise in procurement with co-manufacturing for vertical segment of business.
  • Preference given to those with solid and upwardly mobile careers rooting from contract electronics manufacturing companies
  • Must have a US Passport and be able to travel regularly 40-50%
  • Must have advanced communication and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to present to small and large audiences.
  • Ability to negotiate professionally.
  • Well-travelled, organized, team oriented, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Advanced computer skills- Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience using CRM Tools- Salesforce experience preferred.

Compensation: Spartronics is committed to pay fair market compensation based on candidates’ skills, experience and demonstrated accomplishments. This position offers a base salary and a commission incentive plan.
