Fluid is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development professional to develop and drive our b2b SaaS sales strategy. This individual will be responsible for identifying strategic opportunities, building and managing relationships with key partners and clients that contribute to the overall success and expansion of the business.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B enterprise SaaS sales, and is well connected in the Payroll and HR Industries. They will bring a strategic mindset, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities
Manage Strategic Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share within the B2B enterprise segment.Lead negotiations for multifaceted deals, partnerships, and contracts.
- Coordinate with the executive team to align Business Development strategies with overall corporate goals.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances.
Relationship Management
- Build and nurture relationships with key prospects, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Lead negotiations and contract discussions to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities.
Team Leadership
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing Business Development team.
Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the Business Development team. Data-Driven Decision Making
Utilize analytics and market insights to make informed decisions, continuously optimize sales strategies, and maximize performance.
Qualifications
Experience: Significant industry experience with proven success in B2B enterprise SaaS sales. Deep understanding of technology sales and management of key stakeholders. The ideal candidate is well connected in the HR or Payroll technology space.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop, adapt and execute strategic sales plans that align with overall business objectives. Can intuit customer and partner needs and contribute voice of customer input across the organization.
