Business Continuity Manager- Remote In Louisiana

Maximus is currently hiring for a Business Continuity Manager to support a call center program in Louisiana. This is a remote position, but residency must be in the state of Louisiana to allow for weekly or quarterly travel to our Baton Rouge facility.

Education and Experience Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and report on various initiatives and projects including logging and tracking risks and issues, posting project charters, maintaining project work plans, and managing various projects and initiatives.
• Manage day to day communications with the client via the formal correspondence process and ensure deliverables and key performance requirements are reported to the client timely and accurately.
• Responsible for project knowledge regarding all Key Performance Requirements (KPRs), tracking performance, and reporting to the client.
• Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
• Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Act as advisor to direct reports to resolve problems and progress projects.
• Develop and administer schedules, budgets, performance requirements.
• Recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect immediate organizations.
• Responsible for ensuring proper controls, processes, documentation, and standards are adhered to in order to maintain an operational system after an outage.
• This individual has the overall responsibility for planning, developing and managing the Business Continuity processes and disaster recovery protocols to ensure timely, accurate and acceptable available of system to meet State requirements.

Program Specific Requirements:

• Associates degree required
• Five (5) years’ of experience developing, assessing and conducting Business Continuity or disaster recovery processes on projects of similar scope and complexity
• Three (3) years’ of experience with developing and implementing Business Continuity and disaster recovery processes for CSCs
• Formal training in Business Continuity and disaster recovery methodologies and techniques.

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
