Logistics:
This is a full-time position (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm working hybrid from 51 Clemson Rd. Columbia SC, in an office environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Develops and maintains Business Continuity plans and strategies for assigned lines of business.
- Develops and customizes exercise formats to test Business Continuity plans.
- Maintains and creates reports from Business Continuity database.
- Assists manager in development of Business Continuity and Crisis Management procedures.
- Responds in a timely manner to customer issues and requests.
- Serves as a liaison to state and local government emergency response agencies.
- Assists in the response and recovery activities during an incident.
To Qualify for This Position, You’ll Need:
- Required Education: Bachelor's in a job related field
- Required Work Experience: 3 years emergency management, disaster recovery planning, or Business Continuity planning experience.
- Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication, project management, analytical or critical thinking, and organizational skills. Proficient spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic business math. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion. Working knowledge of Business Continuity and disaster recovery planning practices. Emergency response, disaster recovery, and Business Continuity programs.
- Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office.
- Required Licenses and Certificates: Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP from Disaster Recovery Institute International) or equivalent.

- Preferred Software and Tools: Knowledge of Business Continuity Software as a Service (SaaS) products or equivalent Business Continuity applications.
