The Warehouse Shift Lead provides oversight and direction to and leads the warehouse operations team. The Shift Lead assists with and supports the priorities of the team resulting in effectively and safely receiving, storing, selecting, and transferring or delivering products and goods to our locations and to support the overall Skyport mission of elevating what it means to eat, drink and shop in an airport.
SHIFT:
4AM start time, Sunday through Thursday
RESPONSIBILITIES: (other duties may be assigned)
- Directing and Monitoring the employees on the team.
- On the spot coaching of employee performance or behavior and then collaborating with the Manager/Director if further formal action is needed.
- Safely and Accurately Receiving and storing product in appropriate areas.
- Safely and Accurately Deliver inventory to designated stores or storage locations by two wheeler, rolling cart, or motorized cart.
- Perform Inventory control and specialized store support activities.
- Participate in the protecting of our product and customers by executing all housekeeping and food safety sanitation tasks.
- Driving the vehicles around authorized areas loading/unloading the various products into and out of company facilities.
- Facilitate department supplemental needs such as submitting maintenance work order requests.
- Performing and Documenting performance and safety observations on the employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience supervising/leading a team of employees preferably in a warehouse operations environment.
- Familiarity in inventory procedures preferred
- A valid driver's license and the ability to drive motorized vehicles required
- A high school diploma, preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills; Proficiency in English
- Pleasant, genuine, polite in manner, and neat and clean appearance
- Able to perform basic math verbally and in writing.
- Able to use basic functions on a computer such as email and entering data into an existing spreadsheet.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Minimum age – 18 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
- Must agree and be able to pass a DIA 10-year background check
- Must be able to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, may have split days off.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours in extreme heat and sometimes extreme cold. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing between 20-75 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion. Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment.
