Charley's Restaurant inside the Courtyard by Marriott Tukwila (West Valley), is hiring for a Breakfast Cook. Shift would be 5a-11a weekdays, and 6a-11a weekends. You may stay later on days when we have banquets. Since we do not offer lunch service (except for banquets), it is hard for someone to get to 40 hours per week. If you would like to work 1 dinner shift also you can get close.
We would prefer someone to be here Wednesday-Sunday, but that can be negotiated.
All associates qualify for hotel travel benefits. Our cooks do make tips from guests, and banquets when available.

Job Duties:
Anticipates, plans for, and completes all prep work for the entire day based on hotel occupancy levels, and banquets. Cleaning and maintaining a professional kitchen.
Responsible for adhering to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste with food items.
Ensures proper specifications are followed for cooking per the menu, recipes, and proper production/plate set-up.
Responsible for proper use of all equipment and supplies.
Expedites food items as necessary to ensure timely service.
Greets all internal or external customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
Responsible for cleaning/sanitizing the kitchen regularly throughout shift and at the end of every shift.
Our cooks are the dishwashers, but managers and bartenders do help.
Completes all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner including cooler and heating temperature logs, food safety logs, and other paperwork as required per health code requirements.
Completes temperature logs, and waste log sheets.
Maintains a clean and safe work area, and handles all beverage/food in compliance with CSM, brand, local, state and federal regulations. Punctuality, and flexibility are a must!
