About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Strategy & Planning Consultant for the Home Lending Strategy (Customer Segments, Bank and WIM partnership) organization. This team develops strategies and executes on initiatives to grow and enhance the experience of Home Lending’s target customer segments. The team also partners with Consumer, Small, and Business Banking (CSBB) and Wealth & Investment Management (WIM) to enhance collaboration between front line teams and better serve Wells Fargo customers. In this role, you will:

  • Develop, enhance, and manage Home Lending offers tailored to the affluent customer segment.

  • Simplify and improve customer and sales experience for asset-based relationship discount.

  • Partner and advise teams such as sales, transformation, marketing, finance, risk, and control to implement asset-based relationship discount roadmap.

  • Develop metrics and reports to measure performance of new and existing offers.

  • Independently own deliverable development (from planning to socialization) for senior management

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including Home Lending leadership and Risk & Control partners.

  • Contribute creative strategic thinking and competitive intelligence to define and execute on key business initiatives.

  • Use a fact-based approach to solve problems.

  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners.

  • Manage internal messaging to business leadership and governance forums.


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in product development and management, preferably within the affluent segment

  • Strong understanding of affluent consumer behavior, preferences, and trends

  • Subject matter expert as it relates to the Asset-Based Relationship Discount

  • Knowledge and understanding of Home Lending business.

  • Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing processes.

  • Experience leading efforts with multiple stakeholder groups

  • Ability to manage complex data and reporting projects requiring coordination of resources at different levels both internally and externally.


Job Expectations:

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgages regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

  • NYC: $138,500 to $287,600

  • Summit, NJ $138,500 to $287,600

  • Wilmington, DE $126,400 to $262,600

  • Other locations: $120,400 to $250,000
