POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Director of Community Health, the Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the successful administration of Community Health programs and services. This position plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with contract requirements including budget management, billing, and both quantitative and qualitative program evaluation. He/she will work closely with all members of Community Health team and serve as liaison with the PUC finance, HR, and evaluation teams along with funders and partners.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Strategy and Thought Leadership
Leverage data for continuous program improvement
Support new development opportunities for Community Health impact area
Manage evaluation planning and programmatic data activities
Support workplan and budget development and revision
Assist on other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Operations and Outcomes
Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data
Clean, organize, and maintain data on an ongoing basis
Develop and maintain data collection and tracking tools
Manage Peer Place, Excel and other data systems
Submit data to external funders and partners
Draft summative and narrative reports
Monitor workplan and budget progress
People and Community Development
Coordinate communication between Community Health team, partners, and contractors
Support and train program staff in collecting and leveraging data
Represent PUC’s Community Health team at partner and funder meeting
Financial Management
Support monthly and quarterly billing processes
Coordinate external financial audits performed by funders
Monitor and track actual expenses against budgets
Organize and manage budget revisions to align with program needs
Create and maintain tools for finance tracking and monthly spendings
Required Skills/Experience
Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
Open to working in low-income neighborhoods with diverse community
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends
Self-motivating with excellent time management and accountability skills
Experience handling government and foundation grants
Experience coordinating complex projects in a human services field
Expertise with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
Excellent communication skills
