We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Bookkeeping Assistant / Admin. This position will support our Senior Bookkeepers and assist with general office administration. We are an office of 8, willingness to work in a team environment is a must.
This is a full-time, in office position. Candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service skills are a must! We offer paid time off and holidays, 401K with employer match, and health & dental benefits.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Bookkeeping & Data Entry:
-Accurately enter financial transactions into QuickBooks Online
-Reconcile bank and credit cards
-Prepare client accounts for Sr. Bookkeepers
-Retrieve client bank statements and source materials
-Organize data
-Light payroll processing
Administrative Support:
-Answer and direct phone calls
-Greet and assist visitors and clients
-Run errands as needed
-Provide general administrative support as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
MINIMUM 2 years prior data entry experience with QuickBooks
MINIMUM 2 years experience with bank reconciliations
MINIMUM 2 years QuickBooks Online experience
Strong attention to detail
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and account managers
Proficient in using Microsoft Applications
Must have reliable transportation and live within 30 miles of our location
Accountability to internal processes & procedures
