As evidenced by our long list of repeat clients, we focus on specific needs to create strong relationships and consistently exceed expectations.Job DescriptionAECOM - Hunt has an immediate need for a Project Cost Accountant on site at O'Hare Airport. The successful candidate will be familiar with cost accounting in a construction environment, such as invoicing, contract compliance, expense validation, etc. PARKING IS PROVIDED!Responsibilities include but not limited to:* Process subcontractor invoices and monitors compliance with contract requirements including but not limited to insurance, bond, and waiver documentation.* Oversee client billing review meetings and submission of owner bills.* Completes monthly internal accounting reconciliation assignments and is a liaison to the AECOM Hunt Finance team for project specific matters.* Partners with the project team to manage contract budgets and cost forecasts while identifying risks and opportunities affecting the profitability of the project.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:* BA/BS + 2 years of relevant project accounting experience or AA/AS + 4 years of relevant project accounting experience or HS/GED + 6 years of relevant project accounting experienceOR* BA/BS + 4 years of relevant project accounting experience or AA/AS + 6 years of relevant project accounting experience or HS/GED + 8 years of relevant project accounting experiencePreferred Qualifications:* 2-4 years of Construction Cost accounting experience* Detailed oriented with ability to prioritize work, navigate ambiguity, and meet quick turn-around deadlines with limited guidance in a fast-paced environment.* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills* Strong analytical capabilities and ability to produce high-quality analysis.* Must be able to multitask, work independently, and effectively manage time* Work well in a team environment and collaborate with others to accomplish team objectives* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint such pivot table and formulas* Previous experience working on-site at a client location.* Offered rate of compensation ([insert state] locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
The salary range for this position is $56,252.38 - $98,441.67.* AECOM is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits program to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
