Bookkeeper

Our Bookkeeper is accountable for the accounting operations of the company including the production of monthly financial statements and other monthly reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting transactions and records, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Perform general ledger accounting and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support decision-making processes.
• Ensures compliance with process and procedures and specific directives of the functional department Director.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience

• Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and basic accounting principles.
• Familiarity with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Ability to perform account reconciliation and analysis.
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Understanding of financial concepts and ability to interpret financial data accurately.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and accounting software are essential to the position.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college or university preferred; or a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Frequent sitting, work at a computer for extended periods of time.
• Ability to function and facilitate job duties at various affiliate locations when need is required.
