Bookkeeper

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our family office in Northwest Las Vegas, NV that is dog friendly. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills and experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and monthly reports.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Perform general ledger entries and maintain chart of accounts
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparations
- Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Appfolio is a plus)
- Familiarity with governmental accounting standards is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
