Bookkeeper

We are a small independent financial services firm looking to hire an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals. Our firm is women-owned and managed, growing successfully for over 20 years.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books on accounts payable, payroll, financial entries, and reconciliations.
• Communicate with management projected account balances, revenue, and expense reports.
• Work with management to assist accountant for completion of required tax forms.

Requirements and skills

• Proven bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or Bookkeeping Certification or equivalent

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per year
