We are a small independent financial services firm looking to hire an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team of dedicated professionals. Our firm is women-owned and managed, growing successfully for over 20 years.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books on accounts payable, payroll, financial entries, and reconciliations.
- Communicate with management projected account balances, revenue, and expense reports.
- Work with management to assist accountant for completion of required tax forms.
Requirements and skills
- Proven bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or Bookkeeping Certification or equivalent
