RS Automation is looking to add an Entry Level bookkeeper to our staff. The position will feature a full suite of training in all aspects of bookkeeping as you work in our fast-paced and growing business. Experience working with QuickBooks is preferred but not required. Main functions for this position will be data entry, accounts payable, receivables, purchasing, and reconciliation.
Job Duties:

AR/AP - Match invoices to receivables, enter invoices into QB, charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and past entries.
Project/Job setup, costs, tracking and reports. Ensure proper classification of expenses. Pay vendors while monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, resolving purchase orders, contract fulfillment, invoicing, handling payment discrepancies, and general project documentation. Additional roles include insuring credit is received for outstanding memos, purchase order amendments, document preparation, and records management relative to the AR/AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures.
Customer relations along with professional phone skills.
Collections - Assist in establishing and implementing purchasing policies, procedures, and forms. Coordinate with accounting to ensure that all product costs are properly tracked in the record of sales and job costs. Responsible for communicating with all department managers and purchasing on inventory levels and locations. Daily goods received by facility are to be matched with the actual purchases from the suppliers in QB system.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred. Computer Skills and General math skills required. Proficiency in MS Office including the ability to operate computerized accounting and Excel spreadsheet programs is required. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Excellent data entry skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills. Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills. Effective organizational, stress, and time management skills. Ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to work independently or as a team member. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a HUGE benefit.
