Part-Time Bookkeeper

We are seeking an in-person part-time Bookkeeper (8 hours per week) to join our team at our Warehouse located in Long Island City!

With our fleet of warehouse and delivery trucks (both refrigerated and non-refrigerated), we promote new SKUs, incubate and build new brands into the NYC marketplace!

Opportunity and Job Description:

• Who: We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a dedicated team player and a self-starter who pays excellent attention to detail and upholds accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Proficiency in Quickbooks and MS Excel is required! Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Position: Part-time (8 hours per week - can be one day per week or two 4 hour days)
• Location: Warehouse (located in Long Island City)
• Pay: This is a 1099 position. Pay starts at $25 per hour.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining and updating Quickbooks Online, including updating Collections;
• Creating and matching payments for vendor bills and client invoices (including tracking of reimbursable expenses);
• Reconciling books to bank and credit card statements; including Collections vs what is owed;
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Mailing unpaid invoices to clients;
• Reconciling inventory;
• Maintaining accurate financial records.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

• Long Island City, NY 11101: Relocate before starting work (Required)
