Dietary Cook

Vibrant Life Senior Living, is a family oriented community. We are professional, agile and social. We provide care and special needs to the senior community. We are looking for candidates who can Cook for up to 80 residents.

Responsibilities:

Must have the ability to rotate shifts as needed.

- Must be able to follow menu and cook for up to 80 residents
- Prepare and cook meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes
- Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Monitor and maintain inventory of food supplies and ingredients
- Collaborate with dietary staff to plan menus and accommodate special dietary needs
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils

Requirements:
- Must have Previous experience as a COOK!!
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to follow recipes and dietary guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment

Assist residents with Dietary Guidelines

Respond immediately to calls from residents for assistance or treatment and alert medical staff to pending emergency situation

Preparing or helping prepare breakfast lunch and dinner for our residents.

Making sure alternative meals are available at all times for residents.

Making sure all dishes and areas are kept clean and sanitized.

Work with dining Care friends to ensure that all residents get the correct meals and that all residents are able to eat.

Help with stock on delivery days,ex; put away, date, clean.

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen per company and state requirements, report any repairs or issues to the Maintenance Director immediately. safe serve certified or eligible to be.

Qualifications and Skills: Mature Person Reliable

High school diploma/GED required

Able to communicate clearly in English using written and verbal methods

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Ability to work as a valuable part of a team

Able to work the scheduled shifts.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
