We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of debits and credits, financial report writing, and technical accounting specific to NYC rental properties. Experience with accounting software such as Quickbooks and Appfolio is required.
```Duties```
- Manage the general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
```Experience```
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in using accounting software such asQuickbooks and Appfolio
- Familiarity with NYC rental property regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
