Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Personal Bookkeeper to join our team, which manages the personal and family financial affairs of our principal, a successful investor, entrepreneur, and business operator. This role demands a strong background in bookkeeping, detail-oriented problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the family's personal financial matters, including bank accounts, credit cards, and expenses
Aggregate data and help prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) that provide insights into spending patterns, trends, and areas for optimization
Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
Monitor and analyze changes in the family's spending habits
Accurately reconcile financial records using Excel and Expensify
Collaborate with our friendly team to deliver exceptional service to the family
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field, preferably within a personal finance capacity
Proficiency in Excel, Expensify, and other relevant financial tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively work with the family and other professionals
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
