Our goal is to develop and provide innovative diagnostic tools to improve physician’s capabilities through our urine cytology, molecular and pharmacogenetic testing. Our primary focus is the creation of innovative screening tests that can detect cancers and cancer precursors at their earliest stages, which correlates to less invasive treatments and cures, while decreasing mortality rates.
Job Summary:
The financial Bookkepper’s goal in the company is to maximize profits, and the Bookkeeper will be responsible for the finances of a company. The Bookkeeper will perform data analysis and advise managers on ways to maximize profits, create financial reports, investment strategies, and long-term financial goals for the business. The Bookkeeper will prepare financial reports to summarize current business finances and advise on future earnings or expenses, will take care of preparing reports required by the government which oversee businesses, and will oversee the accounting, budget and audit areas of a business.
Manage Accounts Receivable:
- Pull reports from LIMSABC and enter invoices and record payments for Direct Billing.
- Categorize all incoming receipts in bank accounts.
- Review overpayment notifications, determine if a check is required to pay the overpayment or if it will be drawn from future payments, verify that the overpayment notification has been sent to billing, and review the overpayment spreadsheet to see if any actions are required.
Manage Accounts Payable:
- Issue purchase orders in QuickBooks to vendors.
- Receive goods in QuickBooks.
- Verify bills and enter into QuickBooks.
- Pay bills.
- Reconcile vendor accounts monthly.
Banking:
- Deposit checks.
- Reconcile all bank accounts.
- Reconcile all credit cards.
- Reconcile merchant accounts.
- Maintain fraud protection.
Reporting:
- Perform monthly reporting of balance sheet and profit and loss statement.
- Calculate costs for individual tests and compare to actuals.
- Prepare annual budget and perform budget vs. actual comparisons.
- Work with the accounting firm on reporting, financial statements, taxes, etc.
General:
- Make all journal entries including payroll entries.
- Maintain all accounting records.
- Work with CEO and COO on projects and reporting.
- Work with Administration, HR, Sales, Billing and Lab on projects and reporting.
