Job Description
Qualified candidates MUST be able to provide a valid driver's license for LCRA security check.
**Pay: **$30-$40/hour for experienced candidates; $125/day per diem; health benefits
**Schedule: **Monday-Friday, Saturday may be used for makeup day, Sunday only for unusual situations
Location:
Wirtz Dam Repair Project, Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, Horseshoe Bay, TX
Pay:
$30-40/hr, plus per diem, plus benefits
Primary Purpose:
Assist in moving floating crane and barges to designated areas on dam repair project on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson using a 460 hp truckable pushboat.
Typical Duties:
Moving a very large floating crane and barges safely around the jobsite; maintenance of vessel; oversee mentoring and training of deckhand.
Requirements:
A valid US Coast Guard license is preferred but not required. Experience operating a pushboat moving barges is required. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass security clearance. Must be able to endure a heat index exposure about or near 112°F. Must work well with others, and perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
