Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing and data entry, with proficiency in Excel. As a Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and timely billing processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and timely billing for transportation services provided
- Conduct thorough data entry to maintain up-to-date records
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for billing
- Verify and reconcile billing information to ensure accuracy
- Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Generate and analyze reports using Excel to track billing trends and performance
- Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Billing Specialist or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in data entry and billing processes
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams
