What an A/V Technician typically does:
- Installs TVs and speakers
- Pre-wires home or business
- Programs home technology systems
- Builds racks for systems
- Configures networks
- Installs cameras, shades, lights
- Knowledge of wire/cable termination and pre-wiring
- Experience installing speakers and TVs
- Understanding of rack building procedure
- Understanding of basic network
- Knowledge of Lutron, Savant, Control4 a plus
