We are currently hiring for a long term position in the city of San Diego. If you have experience handling authorizations, busy phones, or call center in a medical office setting then this position is for you.

This person is responsible for the facilitation of the authorization process and assists the Clinical Services Case Managers with the Utilization and Quality Management processes. Must have experience talking with patients, doctors and billing groups.

Summary:

Position: Clinical Care Coordinator

Hourly Pay: $20-21.50 p/hour

Hours: 7AM to 5:00 PM

Days: Monday- Thursday Full Time, NO Fridays or weekends.

Location: San Diego, 92121 CA

**Bilingual in Spanish is a MUST**

Duties:

• Performs outbound patient calls per clinical pathway
• Facilitates patients appointments as directed by the case manager
• Manages a case load of 100-150 low acuity patients that are identified for population management by the case manager
• Provides feedback to Clinical Services Supervisor regarding process improvement.
• Performs data entry
• Knowledge of ICD and CPT codes and processes.
• Knowledge of Health Plan compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of general IPA operations
• Taking the phones, inbound calls, answering billing questions, in a call center environment. Someone who is bilingual, Spanish and able to handle high volume phone calls.
• Data entry skills and or EMR experience, minimum 1- 2 years.
