Clayton Services is searching for an HR Assistant to join a thriving company in North Houston. The HR Assistantwill be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $19.00/hour

HR Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and updating employee records, both physical and digital.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of employee information in HR databases.
- Help with compliance items regarding all relevant labor laws and company policies.
Support in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. - Assist in recruitment by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate screenings.
- Coordinate new hire orientations and onboarding activities.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Adobe.
- Must have completed some college classes or obtained college credit.
- A huge plus if the education is in Business Administration.
- 1+ year of experience in an administrative or office clerical position.
