JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our growing team.
The Opportunity:
The Benefits Analyst is an integral member of the JELD-WEN Benefits team. The Benefits Analyst supports effective delivery of all US Health and Wellbeing Benefit Programs such as Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Vision, EAP, Life and AD&D Insurance. The Benefits Analyst will exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance. This is a hands-on, team-oriented role requiring excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple initiatives.
This position is based in Charlotte, NC and reports to the Sr. Benefits Manager. The default work schedule for this position will be 5 days per week in the office with plenty of flexibility for remote work as needed.
What You Will Do:
- Act as first-line resource for associate, internal partners and external vendor inquiries, escalations, issue research and resolution related to the company's Health and Wellbeing Benefit programs.
- Assist with review of new benefits and benefit plan design changes.
- Assist with vendor implementations and benefit program coordination to ensure timely, accurate and compliant delivery.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve demographic data file issues and ensure effective and efficient data interfaces between all benefits and HR-related systems.
- Facility administrator for the Biometric Screening Program.
- Prepare and reconcile monthly benefits invoice receivables for timely and accurate processing by accounts payable.
- Review and complete the reconciliation of the bi-weekly Payroll.
- Complete monthly COBRA remittance, HRA and FSA funding ledger reporting.
- Research and prepare Benefit eligibility appeals for review committee.
- Support all aspects of Benefits Open Enrollmwnt and participate in system testing.
- Review and complete QMSCO, HIPP, CMS, Legal, Risk Management and BCBS requests and verifications.
- Coordinate death claim processing with benefits administrator.
- Coordinate benefit administrative system updates and document process changes through process mapping and written procedures.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with equivalent related work experience in Benefits Administration.
- CEBS, CBP and/or PHR preferred.
How You Stand Out:
- Minimum 3 years of proven success working in benefits administration for large employers with various geographic locations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and balance multiple initiatives.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Experience and focus in benefits customer service, with ability to support HRBPs and work directly with associates.
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude demonstrating progressive experience working with benefits administration systems and HRIS.
- Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate level Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, formulas and analysis.
- Ability to work as part of a team while functioning independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required with the ability to communicate to audiences of various backgrounds and sizes.
- Working knowledge of Benefit-related regulations, such as ERISA, COBRA, ACA, HIPAA COBRA and DOL requirements.
