Job description

Summary
In this role you will be tasked with designing and implementing the compensation and benefits programs within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring that our compensation packages are competitive, aligned with company goals, and compliant. You will analyze sales data and calculate commissions per commission structures. You will collaborate under the direction of HR and Finance to develop and implement the program and strategy.

Essential Functions
  • Collect and analyze compensation and benefits data, providing insights and recommendations to management for program enhancements.
  • Accurately calculate sales commissions based on established commission structures.
  • Validate and verify sales data to ensure accuracy in commission calculations.
  • Review and update job descriptions and ensure alignment between job responsibilities, qualifications, and compensation levels.
  • Evaluate and analyze employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, to ensure their competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct job evaluations and market research to determine competitive salary ranges and classifications for different job positions.
  • Develop and administer compensation programs, including base salaries, incentives, bonuses, and commission structures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of compensation and benefits data to internal stakeholders and external entities as required.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to communicate compensation and benefits programs to employees, address inquiries, and provide guidance.
  • Analyze market data and industry trends to benchmark our compensation packages and ensure competitiveness.
  • Monitor changes in laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance and updating policies as needed.
  • Carry out the annual salary review process, including salary adjustments and merit increases.
  • Administer the annual bonus payment process.
  • Provide support and guidance to managers and HR in performance management processes and the linkage between performance and rewards.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in compensation and benefits to recommend innovative approaches and programs.
  • Other relative duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Accountant, Compensation and Benefits Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Current and valid US driver’s license preferred
  • Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test in accordance with federal, state, and local laws

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, job evaluation methodologies, and market analysis.
  • Familiarity with relevant employment laws and regulations, such as FLSA, ACA, and local labor laws.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and experience working with HRIS and compensation management systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compensation and benefits concepts to different audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear and see. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hand to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Frequent lifting required of items 5-25 pounds, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Work Environment
This job operates in both a professional office and warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. May occasionally require driving to project sites. Conditions will include proximity to forklifts or other heavy machinery and using various tools and hardware. Subject to frequent heavy lifting. May be exposed to variable weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures. #LI-Hybrid
