Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Assist with setting up and breaking down the bar area for events or shifts
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic math skills for cash handling and making change
- Familiarity with restaurant or retail math calculations
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Understanding of beverage recipes and mixing techniques
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages and their respective glassware
