Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both fellow attorneys and administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. Compensation:$60,000- $100,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution
- Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
- Work toward stated quarterly goals with management and accurately record time entries daily in the case management system
- Collaborate with other attorneys on staff to determine the best course of action in the representation of clients
- Able to work independently while handling multiple files
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
- Prior family law experience in a law firm for a minimum of 3 years is required
- Ability to bill 30 hours per week and accurately record time in case management software
