Job Summary:
We are a progressive boutique law firm in Durham, NC and we are seeking a new associate.
The successful applicant will have at least two years of experience practicing family law. This is non-negotiable - If you do not have experience actually practicing family law, please do not apply. We are looking for someone who needs minimal training and is ready to go on day one.
This is a full-time position, with a base salary plus commission paid monthly. Your commission is paid on your billed hours, not on what is collected (that's my job!). We offer partially paid health insurance, and access to dental and vision insurance, plus generous paid time off, paid Bar dues and CLE fees, paid hotel accommodations for the Family Law annual meeting, support staff, a beautiful office and up to date technology. We are open to negotiating additional benefits if you need them.
We are primarily a family law firm. One attorney here also does Wills and Estates/Probate. If you have experience or interest in an additional area of law, we would love for you to bring another area of practice, such as real estate or immigration, to our firm, along with your practice of family law. We are looking for someone who wants to and can work independently, while also being part of the team here.
